116 Nature through Photography

Dick AndersonDick Anderson • Thursday All Day
Evocative photographs can create a bridge between the outside world and our inner journey, and writing about these photographs can further illuminate paths to personal discovery. In this workshop, we’ll explore our relationship to the natural world through photographing the sights and landscapes we discover in Rock Creek Park, the lovely refuge from the urban bustle, located just outside the conference hotel. After lunch, we’ll gather to share the images we captured and the writing they inspired. Our photos will appear on telescreens throughout the Symposium weekend. Bring your digital camera with your USB cable and/or thumbdrive if you wish to share your images electronically. Note: Please plan to wear appropriate outdoor clothing for sunshine or rain.
